    5-axis machining or rational multiple clamping – with HYDROK we offer a hydraulically actuated stationary chuck that provides even more implementation possibilities. Depending on size – you can use it with all clamping device adaptations, such as the MANDO Adapt mandrel-in-clamping device or with the jaw module. So you can completely rely on the intelligent HAINBUCH modular system, even for your stationary clamping device.

    The smallest of the group: HYDROK 40 SE and 32 RD. Their modular base plates can be easily fitted together and enable multiple clampings with incredible holding forces in the most confined spaces. And with an additional tandem cylinder you can even generate the full clamping force with a weaker hydraulic unit.

Stationary workpiece clamping technology is based on the concept of fixing the workpiece in a clamping system that does not rotate during machining. This is why stationary clamping devices are classically used on milling machines. Here, only the tool itself rotates.

which clamping technology suits my needs?

Depending on the scope of production and the problem, it is decided which clamping device is necessary for the corresponding clamping task. The following clamping systems provide an insight into the Tool-Arena range:

zero-point clamping systems

Zero-point clamping systems, also called zero-point systems, enable the clamping of a workpiece with high repeat accuracy. Re-measuring the workpiece zero point is not necessary, as zero-point clamping systems have a constant referencing. This in turn reduces set-up times considerably.

magnetic clamping systems

Magnetic clamping systems shine due to their short set-up time. In addition, 5-sided machining is possible, as the workpiece is only held by the resting side. The even and permanent magnetic clamping force also effectively minimises vibrations.

vacuum clamping technology

Vacuum clamping technology is particularly suitable for workpieces that are flat on the underside. In this way, workpieces that are difficult to clamp mechanically can be fixed without any problems. Here, too, you can rely on a short set-up time and high precision. In addition, non-ferromagnetic materials can also be clamped.

hydraulic swing clamps

If the clamping points have to be free during loading and unloading, the use of hydraulic swing clamps makes sense. Anyone planning such a clamping system should pay attention to both the swivel direction and the maximum swivel angle.

bore clamp

Bore clamps centre and clamp workpieces. They combine a double-acting pull cylinder with segment clamping sleeves. They are used for raw and machined bores. They are particularly useful for multi-sided machining.

support elements

As the name suggests, support elements are used to support workpieces during clamping. The advantage: their use makes machining vibration-free, no deflections occur.

block cylinder

While double-acting block cylinders are used in any hydraulic operation with linear movement, single-acting block cylinders only come into play when no retraction force is required. They are also relevant when the piston is operated with external force.
